Party of the Year 2026: twenty-four nations, one night on the Danube
Aus einer Nacht · 29 October 2026
On 19 September, a castle somewhere between Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna opened its doors for one night. Three capital cities on the Danube, a region that has lain between worlds for centuries. Where exactly remains between us.
Guests came from twenty-four nations and five continents. From Switzerland, Germany and Austria. From Belgium, the Netherlands and Great Britain. From France, Spain, Italy and Monaco. From Hungary, Czechia, Poland and Romania. From Finland, Sweden and Lithuania. From Ukraine, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. From the United States, Puerto Rico and Colombia. And from far away, from Australia.
Wherever the journey began, on this evening all arrived at the same place. At reception, languages mingled, hesitantly at first with the first glass, effortlessly by dinner. The mask makes everyone a guest of the same house.
Why this place
Central Europe has castles in abundance, but few that can accommodate an entire night. It requires a hall for dinner, a park for the first hour and rooms for what comes later. Here, everything was in place.
Those who travelled arrived via three capital cities. Many stayed a few days, in Budapest, in Bratislava, in Vienna, and turned one night into a small journey.
Over thirty people for one night
It was our Party of the Year, and we prepared it accordingly. Behind this night stood a team of over thirty people: artists, musicians, technicians, bar staff, reception and boutique. Many travelled from far away themselves, from Mallorca, from Switzerland, from Germany and from Prague, others came from the region, so that every detail would be perfect on this evening.
