For the programme 'Virus Voyage' on SRF, Swiss television was permitted to accompany one of our events, a rare exception. At the centre was Anna, a long-time visitor, who spoke openly on camera about why she keeps returning.

It became a report about atmosphere rather than sensation: candlelight, masks, a house that holds time still for one night. And a woman who does not explain, but describes.

A rare exception

Cameras have no place with us. Phones remain in rooms, recordings are forbidden, for guests and staff alike. That a television crew was permitted was therefore far from a given. What was shown reveals nothing: hands, fabrics, masks, light. No face, no name.

A world behind masks

For more than twenty years we have been creating events that exist nowhere else, in real castles, behind masks, in complete discretion.

The story

A longing became a world

It all began more than twenty years ago in Switzerland, not with a business plan, but with a question: what really happens behind the walls of old castles? The masks, the hints, the silent understanding.

From this fascination came a place that had not existed before: events at which a woman may celebrate her femininity anonymously and a man brings the same elegance and the same respect.

Behind every event stands a well-practised team that has worked together for years: hosts, musicians, artists and helpers who know that restraint is the highest form of style.

An event begins festively, dinner, conversation, live music. Then comes the ceremony, and from then on the house opens up. Nothing is expected of anyone.

They should feel admired, elegant, protected and completely at ease. This openness cannot be forced by any staging, it only arises when a woman truly wants to be there.

Nights in real castles

Several times a year, selected castles and villas open their gates for a single night: dinner, live music, the ceremony. Strictly limited, always discreet.

Every event bears its own name. Location and address stay between us, a booked guest only sees the exact address after booking. Publicly we only name region and month, out of respect for the houses and their guests, not out of secrecy.

Always as a pair, the price applies to both

A lady and a gentleman, together. There are no single tickets, not even for a gentleman alone. This keeps the balance in the room.

What you are to each other is your own affair, we do not ask. Single ladies and gentlemen belong to the circle and find each other here; to the night itself, one comes as a pair.

A large, handmade collection

The mask is the beginning of the evening. In the Boutique Amour you will find a large collection of handmade Venetian masks, silver, white, gold and black, each with its own meaning, from the delicate feather mask to the simple domino.

The Venetian mask belongs to the evening, it is worn from entry and throughout the night. Those who do not bring one choose it on site, at leisure.

Of our own design, and to borrow

The capes belong to the ceremony at midnight. We design and make them ourselves, in different variations, a sign one wears before one understands it.

You can buy a cape or borrow one against a deposit. The advantage: you travel without heavy luggage and choose on site. With Premium, the cape is included.

Those who take part commit to treating one another with respect. Intrusive behaviour has no place, our specially trained security team ensures that.

Your wellbeing comes first. Every guest remains free in their decisions and sets their own limits. A no is respected, without exception.

Anonymity

The mask and, during the ceremony, the cape veil every guest. Handmade Venetian masks are ready in our Boutique Amour.

Discretion

Information about guests, places or what happens at an event stays between us. Free members appear as a monogram, never as a photo.

Admission is always as a pair

A lady and a gentleman, together. There are no single tickets, not even for a gentleman alone. This keeps the balance in the room, and the ladies move about safely.

What the two are to each other is their own affair, we do not ask. Single ladies and gentlemen naturally belong to the circle and find each other here; to the night itself, one comes as a pair.

What applies here

What fits, and what does not

Every picture is seen by a person, never by a machine alone

This page is short because the rules are short. Explicit content is welcome, it is only a matter of where it appears. Nothing is deleted for being too open, at most it moves one level deeper. Very little is truly forbidden, and that is at the very bottom.

Salon

Open in the house

What every member may see. Clothed or elegantly partly clothed, evening wear, masks, lingerie in a fashion picture, a nude from behind without emphasis. Suggestion rather than explicitness.

This is where the impression others have of you begins.

Boudoir

Behind the age gate

Nudity and clearly sexual content between adults. Visible only to those who have confirmed their age and deliberately opened this level. It is closed by default.

A picture belongs here at the latest as soon as genitals are visible, a sexual act is depicted, or pose and framing are aimed mainly at that.

Privé

Only those you let in

The same content as in the Boudoir, but not for everyone: you approve each person individually. What is kept here appears in no overview and in no preview.

For what you wish to show, but not to everyone.

The line in one sentence

It is not how much skin is visible that decides, but what the picture is aiming at. A nude that works as a photograph stays in the salon. A clothed close up that has only one effect goes into the Boudoir. When in doubt we classify one level deeper, and you can change the level yourself at any time.

A few clear limits

What is never allowed

  • Anything involving minors, even suggested, drawn or generated by a machine. Without exception, without warning, and reported to the authorities.
  • Pictures without the consent of those shown: taken secretly, from a past relationship, to expose someone.
  • Violence and coercion, animals, human trafficking.
  • Paid companionship, offering or seeking it. The house is not a marketplace.
  • Details of third parties without their consent: names, numbers, addresses, pictures.

If the age or consent of those shown is unclear, we do not approve. Not out of mistrust, but because we cannot know.

How the review works

Every picture is invisible at first and is looked at by a person, never approved automatically. Afterwards the level is fixed and you receive a message. If it is declined, the reason is given, in words, not as a number. Who reviewed it and when is recorded in the log.

You see your own picture immediately, even while it is under review. Others only afterwards.
